Mrs. Coombs' practice emphasizes estate planning, estate and gift tax law, and the administration of decedents' estates. She is certified by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization as a Specialist in Probate, Estate Planning and Trust Law.
Mrs. Coombs entered private practice in 1971, and since then has worked in San Francisco, Palo Alto, and Danville, focusing on estate planning law. Mrs. Coombs joined the Firm in 1984, was a Shareholder from 1985 until 2002 and is currently Of Counsel to the Firm.
Mrs. Coombs is a member of the Probate Section of the California State Bar. She authored a chapter in the California Continuing Education of the Bar text on Decedent Estate Practice and has served as a panelist for California Continuing Education of the Bar courses on will drafting and recent developments in estate planning. Mrs. Coombs has delivered numerous speeches on the topic of estate planning to various professional and community organizations.
Mrs. Coombs has lived in Danville with her husband David since 1976 and has two young-adult children. She and her family are active members of the San Ramon Valley United Methodist Church.
